May 3, 2025: Del Puerto Canyon Bioblitz and Cleanup (weather and other conditons permitting)

Join us on May 3rd, 2025 for a combo Bioblitz and canyon cleanup. The initial meetup location will be 3300 Del Puerto Canyon Road. People will then be given further in-person instructions on where we will go as a group. This is a chance to see some of the rich plant and wildlife diversity that has drawn various educational groups to this area for decades, help better document and raise wider public awareness about it, and to also help clean the canyon. Bring a smartphone or camera and check out the third party iNaturalist.org and the iNaturalist app which we will be using to record our observations. Please bring sturdy shoes and plenty of water.
